Students who wish to stay in accommodations arranged by KLI during the 3 Week Program should complete the accommodation portion on the application form and pay the application, tuition and accommodation fees together. There will be shuttle bus from Co-Op Residence to Yonsei University every morning. It will take around 20 minutes. After school, you have to take subway.

A shuttle bus will also be available only from Mar. 5 to Mar 25.


[CO-OP RESIDENCE INTRODUCTION]
  Co-Op residence is a hotel-type accommodation and provides family-like comfort and convenient services, equipped with kitchen facilities, fitness center, business center, internet service, 50 free channels, laundry service, morning call service and full scale facilities. [TRANSPORTAION INFORMATION]
 

1. Tax :

There are two types of taxis. One is a regular taxi. The other is a deluxe taxi called Mobum taxi. From Incheon International Airport to the Co-Op residence, it takes around 40~50 minutes. Deluxe taxis fare is 50,000 Won, regular taxis fare is 30,000 won. From Yonsei University to Co-Op residence, it takes around 20~30 minutes, deluxe taxis fare is 15,000 won, regular taxis fare is 7,000 won.

2. Subway:

You can see the Co-Op residence after 2 minutes walking from Exit #2 Yangpyung Station (Line No.5). Sinchon Station(Line No. 2) is the closest subway station to the Yonsei University.

3. Bus:

From Incheon International Airport to Co-Op residence, you can take an airport shuttle bus (#608). You can also take a taxi from the place where students get off to Youngdeungpo Station. Airport shuttle buss fare is 6,000 won and taxi fare is around 3,000 won. The bus ride to Youngdeungpo Station will take around an hour.


2SUMMER TERM (1) 2008

Accommodation Period: August 4 ~ August 27, 2008

Place: Muak Dormitory in Yonsei University (15 minutes walking distance to KLI, Shuttle Bus Service only in the morning from Dorm to KLI)

Dormitory Fee: 370,000 Won (Meals are not included)


2Off-campus Housing
  If necessary, the Institute office will help students find off-campus living accommodations near the Yonsei campus. An off-campus accommodation is called a hasook jib (Homestay). A landlord of a hasook jib will rent several rooms to students, provide two Korean style meals (breakfast and dinner) daily, and provide light laundry service. The cost of housing will vary as living conditions will vary for each hasook jib. Students can choose to live in a single room or a double room. The rooms are also unfurnished. On average a single room will cost approximately US $400 a month.
