‘2008 Global Friends with Yonsei’ (Yonsei Global Exchange Cultural Festival) was held at Yonsei University Auditorium on June 9 supported by KLI. About 1,100 people participated in this festival including 900 KLI students, 100 Yonsei University students and other dignitaries from inside and outside of the Institute. This Festival was preceded in 2 parts; first part was official event and second one was performances.
It was more meaningful as KLI students participated too.
Performance teams from outside were ‘Akalaka’ cheer team of Yonsei Univ., ‘So What’ jazz team, ‘Nanta’ and ‘Last for One’ of B-boy Group.

President Han-Joong Kim of Yonsei University made a speech in the first part official event saying that “Global Friends” laid a solid foundation as an open place to Yonsei men for global exchange with open heart to exchange their friendship and to express their passion regardless race and nationality.  
Director Choi, Moon-Gyoo of KLI also made an opening speech “I am happy to celebrate this 2nd year Festival with many participants and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the persons concerned in KLI and the students as well who are taking their nuclear role in this global exchange.
