Yonsei KLI published a new textbook titled “Yonsei Korean Reading 1” on the 5th October this year just after publishing “Yonsei Korean 1” last June. This book is specially designed for the new learners of reading Korean language. The ultimate goal of this book is to make the learners practice the Korean alphabets and correct pronunciation as well as apprehension at beginner’s stage that may easily be forgotten or overlooked at this stage.

If you use this book together with “Yonsei Korean 1” which is consisted especially with various types of communicating function, you can learn the Korean language structure and learn how to use it appropriately, and finally you may reach to a stage of upgraded level to use even specialized Korean. This is another advantage of this book.

With regards to “Yonsei Korean Reading 1”, we tried to include various actual written Korean texts while consisting the contents that is required by step of Korean language reading drill. In the meantime, it will give you a help not only in extensive vocabulary drill but also oral and writing drill by enhancing balanced ability. To this end, it is consisted of various work and activity by step of before and after reading.

And we paid special consideration in learners-oriented Korean language practice while reading on the base of subject and scene that may attract learner’s interest.
