Mr. Choi Mun-Kyu, director of ILRE held a year-end party in the evening of December 5 at Allen Hall.

At this party, he praised and encouraged the staffs and instructors of both the Korean Language Institute and the Foreign Language Institute who worked and taught students hard throughout the year.

It was a real successful party showing up total 140 instructors and staffs, 110 persons from the Korean Language institute and 30 persons from the Foreign Language Institute. 

At this party, director Choi praised them saying that we could provide upgraded educational environment to the students as a result of our intensive investment for the improvement of facilities of the Korean Language Institute in 2006.

We washed the whole floor of the Korean Language Institute and added the facilities such as boxes for personal belongings, public computers for internet search and table tennis stands etc. and these brought great reaction from all people concerned. In the meantime, the cooking room which is under construction will be completed at early next year. When it is completed, the students will enjoy learning living Korean while they cook themselves in the campus.
