Yonsei KLI published a textbook “Yonsei Korean 1” last summer followed by a new textbook titled “Yonsei Korean 2” on October 20th. This book is for the adults with 10 lessons and 50 items. The special feature of this book is that it is designed under the consideration to make the learners review and practice 5 items of each lesson immediately after they learn it.
The “Yonsei Korean 2” contains 40 dialogues and some 900 essential terminologies that are frequently used in our daily life. This book is composed of exercises in order to practice the targeted grammar and homework of the theme to make the learners study it for themselves too. Especially, each lesson contains “Korea seen by Rie” that introduces Korean culture shown to the outside world people with no prejudice. Therefore it will offer the opportunity to compare with the other countries culture.
In the meantime, we are going to prepare and publish English, Japanese, Chinese and Russian versions of dialogues, terminologies and grammatical explanations for the beginners of Korean language.
