The 13 regional representatives of the KLI representing 60,000 alumni scattered all around the world assembled in Seoul. The conference was held from November 5 till November 7 in Yonsei University under the title of "The 1st Conference of Global Network Representatives.” The representatives were invited by the KLI for the discussion of the way how to activate the Global Network.  

The 13 representatives from Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Philippines, Indonesia, China, New Zealand and United States spent three busy days discussing the way how to proceed and develop the Global Network.

On the first day of November 5th, about 20 persons participated in the "Yonsei Global Network Activation Seminar" and they attempted to find out detailed way how to efficiently activate the Global Network keeping the common objectives while invigorating the unique characteristics of each region.

On the November 6th morning, there was a talk with proxy president of the University, Prof. Dae-hee Youn at the small conference room.  The proxy president Youn praised the alumni of KLI saying "You are boosting the honor of Yonsei University all over the world by commanding excellent Korean language" and requested to take a role of a bridge between Yonsei University and each of their country as they are acting in the front line of Global Network.
  
In the morning of November 7th, the representatives met their compatriots who study in the KLI and discussed the way how to activate the Global Network by region.
And in the afternoon, "Social Meeting with Alien Alumni" was held to meet the Yonsei University students in the room No. 501 of Widang Hall. This meeting was sponsored by the Task Force of Liberal Arts Characterization and they exchanged information on the situation of Korean language learning, its teaching method and the competitiveness of Korean language in each region.  

These representatives, in the future, will attempt to find out the way how to develop "Global Network Project" with no cease as a main body to lead the organization of alumni and will take a role of Public Information Ambassador to make Yonsei University well-known to the world.
