The KLI held the 3rd symposium on Korean language education
on November 17 at the KLI auditorium. The subject was "The
Evaluating Principle of Korean Language Ability and Its
Direction to Develop.” It began at 9:30 in the morning
and closed at 5:30 in the afternoon. About 240 academic
world people participated in this symposium including
Choi, Moon-Gyoo, Director of ILRE, and Kim Se Joong,
Vice Chairman of IAKLE.
Mr. Choi, Director of ILRE, made an opening address to deliver the meaning of
this symposium saying "This place is a significant place in order to share
the knowledge and information for Korean language training.” In this symposium,
prof. Kim Jung-sook of Korea University made a special lecture on "The Evaluating
Criteria and Method of the Korean Language Ability.” Besides, 8 other professors
announced a variety of related contents.
