KLI students participated in the 2008 Yonsei Daedong Fete and they could exchange friendship with Yonsei University students. Various student teams in KLI such as Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and Thai students participated in the Global Food Festival event of “World Cooking Report” on May 14. In this event, KLI students introduced traditional foods of each country and they could have happy hours by exchanging each other their different cultures and friendship with Yonsei University students. Yonsei University students were attracted by the tasty foods such as “yakisoba” “koikuon” “maratang”, “ahan thai”, “velin” and others. In this event, KLI director, Choi, Moon-Gyoo and other staffs of KLI also attended and enjoyed the foods. When director Choi saw the students with happy smile, he mentioned “This event could give Yonsei University students a great opportunity to experience tasting other global foods and at the same time KLI students could experience the different university festival culture in Korea.”
