The Afternoon Program is designed for students, business people, housewives or anyone who wishes to study Korean in the afternoon. As a supplement to the Regular Program, this course is ideal for those who want to become more proficient in Korean. This course not only includes daily Korean conversation but also includes in depth look into Korean culture as well as various other activities. Six levels will be offered according to the students Korean language proficiency. Please note that some classes may not be offered due to lack of students interest. Classes are offered 3 hours a day (from 14:00 to 16:50), 4 days a week (M/T/T/F) for 10 weeks (total 120 class hours).

1) A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement for admission to the KLI Afternoon program. |
2) The Afternoon Program is designed for those who already have a visa and are currently residing in Korea. Students will NOT be able to obtain a student visa or extend any visa through this Afternoon Program. |

| Students in the program will receive university-level academic credits for successful completion of the requirements. Students are given the equivalent to four credits in the university semester system. Credits may be transferred from KLI to the students home university, however, the number of credits accepted depends on students home institution. |

| Students are placed in an appropriate level after taking the written and oral examinations. Students without any previous knowledge of Korean will be automatically placed in level 1, the beginning level, as we do not require them to take the placement test. |

| Students, who wish to withdraw and be refunded 90% of the tuition fee, must do so before the term begins. If a student withdraws during the first week of the term, only 70% of the tuition fee will be refunded. After the first week of the term, the fee will not be refunded. If a student misses the first week of the term, registration will be automatically canceled. |
