The Evening Program is designed for diplomats, professors, businessmen, bankers and anyone who cannot participate in the Regular Program due to their daytime work. The program focuses on enhancing communication proficiency, which is essential for business people living in Korea. Classes are offered 3 class hours a day (from 18:30 to 21:00), 3 days a week (M/T/T) for 10 weeks (total 90 class hours).
* For your reference, this program is non-extended visa program.

1) A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement for admission to the KLI Evening program.

2) The Evening Program is designed for those who already have a visa and are currently residing in Korea.  Students will NOT be able to obtain a student visa or extend any visa through this Evening Program.

Within 2 weeks of student’s tuition payment, KLI will inform you whether you have been accepted or not to KLI.

 

 

 

All KLI students will be placed into students’ appropriate class in accordance with his/her Korean ability. Each class has more or less than 13 students. Each class will be divided by students’ gender and his/her Korean ability. If a class has less than 5 students, the class will not be offered.

 

 

 

Students are required to attend at least 72 hours of the 90 class hours of a term. Students who miss more than 18 hours a term will fail their levels regardless of test scores.

 

 

 

Students in the program will receive university-level academic credits for successful completion of the requirements. Upon completion of a 10-week course students will be given the equivalent of three university style credits.

 

 

 

Students who have completed at least two terms and whose Korean language improvement and class attendance have been outstanding will be awarded a scholarship which consists of a 50% reduction of their term’s tuition.

 

 

 

If you wish to withdraw and be refunded 90% of the tuition fee, you must do so before the term begins. If you withdraw during the first week of the term, only 70% of the tuition fee will be refunded. After the first week of the term, the fee will not be refunded. If you miss the first week of the term, your registration will be automatically canceled.
